全学共通科目 「美術史」の授業設計の検討
Consideration of Course Design for the General Education Subject “Art History”

　本研究は、本学の全学共通科目である「美術史」の授業設計の検討である。美術史の初心者の学生を対象としていること、また、コロナ禍の影響によるリモート授業のデメリットを克服する多様な取り組みを通して、受講生の美術史に対する関心や学びの意欲を向上させた点に特徴がある。具体的な取り組みとして、1.通史ではなくテーマ設定による授業展開 2.そのテーマに関する美術作品を対話を活用して鑑賞する「対話による鑑賞」を導入し、講義とセットにすること　3.プライバシーを守りながら安心して授業参加できるようにニックネームを設定すること　4.授業の内容を振り返る「リフレクションシート」を設定し学びを深めること 5.デザインや文芸などを専攻する受講生であっても美術史との関連を見出し、自身の専攻の知識を深めていく内容を含めることを手立てとした。その結果、多くの取り組みでアンケート回答者の9割を超す受講生が満足感を得たことが示された。

This study is an examination of the design of a class on “Art History,” a university-wide common course at the University.It is unique in that it targets students who are beginners in art history and that it improves students’ interest in and willingness to learn art history through various efforts to overcome the disadvantages of remote classes due to the Corona Disaster.Specific initiatives include: 1. Developing classes based on themes rather than general history; 2. Introducing “appreciation through dialogue,” in which art works related to the theme are viewed through dialogue, and combining this with lectures; 3. Setting nicknames for students so that they can participate in class safely while protecting their privacy; and 4. Even for students majoring in design or literature, the course was designed to include content that would deepen their knowledge of their own majors by finding connections to art history.As a result, more than 90% of the survey respondents were satisfied with many of the initiatives.
