ご当地検定を活かした世代交流まちづくりの取り組みについて
― 大江町重要文化的景観普及啓発を目指す高校生ワークショップの実践から―

平成25年に国の重要文化的景観に選定された山形県大江町では、町民へ向けての普及啓発事業の一貫として高校生ワークショップを実施している。28年度には、地元の特徴や魅力を楽しく知り、世代間交流で伝えていく企画として、全国各地で展開するご当地検定にならい、高校生が考えた問題を小学生とその家族が問く「わがまち大江町検定」を実施した。地元高校生が問題を考え、大学生がアドバイスを入れ、高校生がブラッシュアップ、完成した問題を小学生とその家族に解いてもらい、感想や評価をまた高校生にフィードバックする仕掛けで、精度の高い問題作成と評価のシステムが構築できた。あらゆる世代や立場の人々がまちについて学び、知るきっかけになる取り組みとなり、普及啓発活動として有効であったと考えられる。

Oe town, in Yamagata Pref., designated as an Important
Cultural Landscapes in 2013, had a series of workshop
event in 2016 in pursuit of notifying its historical
admirable landscapes to townspeople. At the workshop,
high school students developed ”Wagamachi, my hometown,
Oe town Expert Certification Test”, for elementary
school pupils. Students of Tohoku University of Art and
Design (TUAD) worked as arrangement staffs. Elementary
school pupils took the Certification Test and sent their
comments telling their impressions and thoughts to high
school students. In recent years, certification test for a
particular place is spreading throughout Japan. Making
Certification Test for local town by students could promote
their concerns to local landscapes and collaboration
of three generations make its activity more effective by
means of exchanging their views peculiar to each age.
