ICTの進展によって、産業はコンテンツ化・サービス化し、価値を創造する仕事の比重は高まっている。またテレワークは、ワーカーの働き方を自由にし、フリーランスの増加、副業の推進、ワークスペースのコワーキングスペース化、移住の増加などを引き起こしている。
ICTの進展は地方創生において大きなチャンスである。フリーランス、副業、テレワーク、コワーキングスペースのこれらの動きを掴み、地方でのコワーキングスペース開設の動きが強くなっている。
大学はそもそもコワーキングスペースの機能を持っていた。大学に設けるコワーキングスペースの役割がますます高まっている。

With the progress of ICT, industries are made content and services. The weight of work to create value is increasing.
Telework frees workers how to work. Telework is causing freelance increase, promotion of side work, coworking space increase, increase of migration etc.
Progress of ICT is a great opportunity for regional revitalization. These moves in freelance, side work, telework and co-working space are gaining, and the movement to establish co-working space in rural areas is strengthening.
The university originally had the function of a coworking space. The role of co-working space in universities is increasing more and more.
