アーティストコレクティブとは
What is “Artist Collective”?

本稿では、最近アーティストグループやユニットに代わって耳にすることが多くなった”アーティストコレクティブ”の定義を試みる。インターネットが普及しコミュニケーションのあり方が変化している現代において、コレクティブという活動には、アーティストの現代を生き延びる術が映し出されていると考えるからだ。また、実際にコレクティブを行うアーティストの言葉、文献を通してコレクティブの目的を概観する。彼らは他者と時に衝突を繰り返しながらも活動を続けている。なぜなら、自分とは違う価値観に触れることで生まれる創造性の波への期待があるからだ。他方、空間や材料のシェアといった、個人の活動をサポートするためにアーティスト同士集まって作るギルドのようなものもある。

This paper tries to define “artist collective”. Because it
reflects how artists to survive at society which Internet
widespread and become change communication.In addition,
I summarize the purpose of collective through the
words and literature of artists who actually do collective.
They sometimes continue to work while running counter
with others. Because there is expectation for the wave of
creativity which is born by touching a sense of values different
from ours. On the other hand, there are things like
“guild” that gather together artists to support personal activities.
It purpose to share space and material.
