 本論は日本画におけるマチエール表現と伝統的素材を基盤とする材料学体系との関係性を理解し、そのパータンを用いて中国重彩画における墨線表現を中心とする新重彩画の材料学体系を検討しながら実験で新しい支持体を構築する。

第一章では、先行研究で行われた重彩画の定義を要約し、材料技法の視点から中国重彩画に日本画のマチエール表現を活かせない要因を提出する。

第二章では、クラシックスタイルである工筆重彩画の表現における材料学体系の弱みを指摘し、墨線表現を核に新重彩画の材料学体系を構築する仮説を提案した。

第三章と第四章では、技法体系の視点からクラシックスタイルの重彩画における支持体での墨線表現にとっての要求を検討し、複合型支持体を作る契機と三層構造の理論を提示し、材料学体系の視点から理論と表現を実験で検証する。

特に、当研究は日本画のマチエール表現の分類から、材料学体系における革新と伝統のバランスを図ることで伝統的素材を見直した。この研究は重彩画の材料学体系に新たな視点をもたらし、将来の研究方向に重要な影響を与えられる。

 

This thesis explores the relationship between the matériel expression in Japanese paintings and its traditional material-based system, applying these insights to develop a new material system for Chinese heavy-color paintings. The first chapter summarizes the definition of Chinese heavy-color painting and discusses the challenges of integrating Japanese matériel expressions into Chinese paintings. The second chapter identifies the weaknesses in the material system of classical heavy color painting and proposes a hypothesis for constructing a new system centered around ink line expression. The third and fourth chapters investigate the requirements for ink line expression on various supports in heavy color painting, proposing a composite support structure and a three-layer theory. These are experimentally tested to balance theory and expression. This research reevaluates traditional materials, providing new perspectives for the material system of heavy color painting and significantly influencing future research directions.
