 本研究では、東北芸術工科大学の全学共通科目「セルフプロデュース演習」における授業構築において、デジタル・ストーリーテリングの導入効果とインストラクショナルデザインのARCSモデルの適用可能性を検討した。授業は全てオンライン形式で実施され、Zoomが使用された。デジタル・ストーリーテリングは、自己育成のプロセスや成果を視覚的に表現する方法として導入され、受講生からの高い評価を得た。ARCSモデルを基にした指導法では、受講生の注意や関心を引き、関連性を持たせ、自信を育み、満足感を提供することが目指された。その結果、受講生の学習意欲を高め、課題の達成度も向上したことが確認された。特に、ニックネームの使用やPowerPointの活用など、受講生が安心して表現できる環境を構築することが功を奏し、授業全体の満足度が高かった。本研究の成果は、オンライン授業下における自己育成科目の制作課題において、デジタル・ストーリーテリングの有効性とARCSモデルの実践的な適用方法を示すものであり、今後の授業改善に向けた貴重な示唆を提供するものである。

 

This study examined the effectiveness of introducing digital storytelling and the applicability of the ARCS model of instructional design in the construction of classes in the “Self-Production Exercise,” a university-wide course at Tohoku University of Art & Design. All classes were conducted in an online format, utilizing Zoom. Digital storytelling was introduced as a way to visually represent the process and outcomes of self-development and received high marks from the students; the instructional approach based on the ARCS model aimed to capture students’ attention and interest, make it relevant, foster confidence, and provide a sense of satisfaction. As a result, it was confirmed that the students were more motivated to learn and improved their achievement in their assignments. In particular, the use of nicknames, the use of PowerPoint, and other measures to create an environment in which students felt comfortable expressing themselves were successful, and overall class satisfaction was high. The results of this study demonstrate the effectiveness of digital storytelling and the practical application of the ARCS model in production assignments for self-development courses under online classes.
